Recording Consumable and Eluent Changes

1. Go to the Sequence Control panel.

2. After changing a consumable (for example, a column) or after changing eluent, click the corresponding button under System Maintenance. The change is recorded in the Audit Trail.

 Tip:

If you have Chromeleon Xpress/Server and are using a Chromeleon PC for post-run data analysis functions, the recorded consumable and eluent changes show up as events in Trend Plots. This allows a change in a parameter, such as signal background, to be correlated directly to a consumable or eluent change.
